Egypt's banks and stock exchange announced Sunday 8 June a day off for employees due to the swearing-in of president-elect Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi. El-Sisi achieved a landslide victory over his leftist rival Hamdeen Sabahi in Egypt's presidential elections last week, gaining 96.9% of the valid votes.
